In this article, you'll learn how to change your email address, what requirements apply to accounts with and without deposits, and how long the process may take.
▶️ How can I change my email address?
You can request to change the email address linked to your Olymptrade account by contacting Support. Before submitting your request, make sure that:
You have access to the new email address.
The new email address isn't already registered to another Olymptrade account.
For security reasons, we may ask you to confirm account ownership using your registered contact details. We'll also send a four-digit code to your new email address to confirm that you have access to it. Additional identity verification may also be required, depending on your account.
🔍 What verification is required?
The verification requirements depend on whether your account has previous deposits and whether you have completed verification before.
Accounts without deposits
If you haven't completed verification before: Identity verification isn't required. Once your account ownership and access to the new email address are confirmed, the email can be changed immediately.
If you completed verification before: You'll need to provide a 3D selfie to confirm that the request is being made by the account owner.
Accounts with deposits
Identity verification is required if your account has previous deposits:
If you completed verification before: You'll need to provide a 3D selfie.
If you haven't completed verification before: You'll need to provide an identity document and a 3D selfie.
If verification is required, you'll have 14 days to complete it. The review may take up to 5 working days, and your email address will be changed once verification is successfully completed.
💡 If your account is currently under verification, changing your email address will restart the verification process, and you'll need to complete it again.
✅ What happens after my email is changed?
Once the change is complete:
Log out of your Olymptrade account.
Log back in using your new email address.
