📱 How can I add and verify my phone number?
Before you begin, make sure that:
The phone number is correct.
It includes the correct international country code.
It can receive WhatsApp messages and SMS.
To add and confirm your phone number:
Click the Profile icon, then go to Settings → Contacts → Phone number.
Enter your mobile phone number, including the international country code.
Complete the "I’m not a robot" check and click "Get Code".
Enter the 6 digit verification code sent to you via WhatsApp, then click Confirm.
✅ Once the process is complete, you’ll see the Phone number confirmed message. Click Continue to return to your account.
💬 What if I don’t receive the code via WhatsApp?
Once the waiting time has passed, click Get Code via SMS to request the verification code in a text message.
💡 What if I don’t receive the SMS code?
First, check that your phone number is correct and includes the international country code. If the SMS still doesn’t arrive:
Clear some messages from your SMS inbox.
Make sure your SIM card is active and not blocked.
Check that your mobile network has coverage.
Temporarily disable any anti-spam or SMS-filtering applications.
Request a new verification SMS.
If you still don’t receive the code, insert your SIM card into another device and try again.
