In this article, you’ll learn what strike prices are, how to enable and read them, and how to use them when opening a trade.

🔎 What is a strike price?

A strike price is a quote above or below an asset’s current market price. You can choose from the available strike prices based on your preferred balance between potential profitability and risk, giving you more control over your trades.

Using strike prices can offer either higher potential profitability with higher risk or lower potential profitability with reduced risk. The available profitability depends on the selected strike price and whether you open an Up or Down trade.

⚙️ How to enable strike prices

  1. Open your Profile.

  2. Select Settings.

  3. Open Trading platform.

  4. Find the FTT section.

  5. Turn on Strike prices.

The available strike prices will appear on the trading chart.

📊 How to read the Strike Price menu

The menu contains three columns:

  • The left column shows the profitability for a Down trade.

  • The middle column shows the available strike prices.

  • The right column shows the profitability for an Up trade.

Profitability may differ depending on the selected strike price and trade direction.

🎯 How to select a strike price

  1. Open the Strike Price menu on the trading chart.

  2. Review the available prices in the middle column.

  3. Check the profitability shown for the Down and Up directions.

  4. Select a strike price and your preferred trade direction.

  5. Review your trade details before opening the trade.

Profitability is displayed separately for each strike price and trade direction. Always check the current value before confirming a trade.
